Content Publishing Guide

There are two simple ways for you to enable users to watch your video on their TV through ActiveTV. You can either build a 10-foot or TV website interface to your content, or you can provide your content in an XML feed. Detailed instructions follow:

1. Build a 10-ft website. If you build a website to Microsoft’s Media Center standard, we can easily include your TV website in the ActiveTV channel selections. The specifications can be found in the MSDN Libary.

   Once you complete your TV website, you can submit it by completing this form and selecting "Content Submission for ActiveTV" as the category and providing the URL pointing to your website.

2. The second option for inclusion in ActiveTV is to provide MediaMall Technologies with an RSS feed that includes URLs to the actual video, titles, descriptions, and thumbnail images. An example of the correct XML feed format can be found here.

   Once your XML is complete, you can submit it and any info on how to use the feed by completing this form and selecting "Content Submission for ActiveTV" as the category. As we are unable to accept file uploads at this time, please post your XML to a location where we may access it with a valid URL or copying and pasting it into the form.
